NBA begins plan to launch a professional basketball league in Africa (Photo)

African stars who attended the National Basketball Association (NBA) All-star Weekend have revealed that the association plans to launch basketball league in Africa.

Nigeria’s Ycee was joined by South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest, Sho Madjoze, Moozlie and Tanzanian’s sweetheart Vanessa Mdee to attend the event.

They all took to their Instagram pages to announce that the NBA plans to launch a basketball league in Africa.

According to reports, the league will feature twelve teams from several countries across the Africa.

In an effort to make a bond between music and sports, the stars were hosted by NBA Africa and UMGB, a division of Universal Music Group. The event was held in Charlotte, North Carolina.
