Binaebilayefa Dawudu, was shot dead during a robbery attack in PPL

A trader in Lagos state, Binaebilayefa Dawudu, was shot dead during a robbery attack in PPL community,  in the Ojo Local Government Area, Lagos State on Saturday May 11th.

According to reports, Dawudu had just finished praying in a mosque and was on his way home when the robbers struck in the area. Himself and other road users ran into a betting shop for safety and were followed by one of the assailants who took all their valuables.

After the robbery, Dawudu came out and decided to quickly run to his home. Unfortunately, he took the same route the fleeing robbers took. While they were carrying out another robbery attack,  the robbers fired some shots that hit Dawudu.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Bala Elkanah, said two suspects had been arrested over the death.
