Police begins to arraign Sowore’s RevolutionNow protesters

RevolutionNow protesters arraigned in Ogun State.

Nigeria Police Force has kicked off the arraignment RevolutionNow protesters as they drag four suspects before a magistrate court sitting in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital on Wednesday.

The suspects arrested in connection with “Revolution Now” protests in Ogun State are Daniel Abraham, 29, Afofun Festus,18, Kolawole Seun, 25, and Okoro Romeo, 38.

The four suspects were arraigned on three-count charge of conspiracy, unlawful assembly and conduct likely to cause breach of public peace, punishable under section 516, 70 and 249 (D) of the Criminal Code laws of Ogun State .

The four suspects pleaded not guilty and were admitted to bail while the case was adjourned to 15th of August 2019.
