Naira Marley has dropped the music video of his latest single, ‘Soapy’.
‘Soapy’ has met mixed reactions from fans, music listeners and critics since the singer dropped the audio of the song in June.
The music video of ‘Soapy’ didn’t quite meet up with our expectations at Within Nigeria, as Naira Marley and his team settled for simple and straightforward cinematic visuals.
Shot inside prison, Naira Marley recreated his viral pose when he was arrested by the men of the Economic and Financial Crmes Commission, EFCC, in July, alongside Zlatan Ibile and others.
‘Soapy’ also got a video treatment that’s not as provocative as the vulgar lyrics used, it focused on life inside the prison.
