UNIMAID lecturer defeats 5720 others to win World Physics Competition

Nigerians have continue to make the country proud in stiff international competition as Dr Yakubu Nura, of the University of Maiduguri, Borno  emerged winner of the world physics competition.

The World Championship 2019 in Physics (Einstein’s Planetary Equation) acknowledged the outstanding international contributions of Dr Yakubu Nura.

His selection was based on an international meritorious competition.

Nura’s research article was adjudged the best and beating 5,721 nominations from 97 countries that were screened for the championship.

The world champion Dr Yakubu Nura is now recognized as the father of modern Einstein’s Planetary Equation studies in Physics.

The purpose of the award is to identify brilliant scientists and academicians around the world through world championship.

The world championship is organized by International Agency for Standards and Ratings. At international level, Dr Nura, (world champion and fellow, directorate of physics, IASR) plays a vital role in advancement of scientific knowledge in Physics.
