VeryDarkMan explains what led to Blord’s arrest after court remanded him in Kuje Prison (VIDEO)

Blord's arrest: Verydarkman speaks

Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has spoken out following the remand of tech entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly called BLORD, at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja.

The development comes after BLORD was arraigned before the Federal High Court on multiple charges and ordered to remain in custody for 26 days pending further proceedings.

According to statements shared by VeryDarkMan, the case revolves around allegations that BLORD forged a flight ticket in his name to generate publicity for a product launch event in Onitsha. He also accused the businessman of falsely claiming to have paid him ₦500 million for an ambassadorship deal and of linking him to the Billpoint app without his approval.

VeryDarkMan further alleged that his image was used on billboards and promotional flyers without his consent, describing the actions as misleading and damaging to his reputation.

After BLORD pleaded not guilty in court, the presiding judge ordered that he be remanded while the case continues. The timeline means the entrepreneur is expected to spend the Easter period in custody, a development that has intensified reactions online and drawn widespread attention across Nigerian social media.

VeryDarkMan, who attended the court session with his lawyer, posted videos capturing the moment BLORD was escorted into a prison van. He also filmed himself following the vehicle to the correctional facility, saying he wanted to personally witness the process. In his remarks, he stated that BLORD avoided eye contact with him at the court premises and appeared unprepared for how serious the situation had become.

The activist reiterated that he does not accept promotional deals, claiming he has rejected endorsement offers worth over ₦700 million because he intends to use his platform for more purposeful engagements. He maintained that the issue goes beyond defamation, insisting that the allegations involve criminal conduct.

Captioning his post, Verydarkman wrote in parts

“I thought this guy had mind. He couldn’t even look me in the eye when he saw me, because he never imagined in his life that it would get to this point. Now you’re going to pr!s0n. You will spend Easter there, and you will learn.

“I’m personally escorting you. And for those of you who were praising him then, start preparing to go and give him Easter food there. You cannot be ignorant of the law. D£f@mation is different from cr!min@lity.

“As you all know, Mr. Linus forged flight tickets using my name, “Martins Otse,” claiming I was coming to Onitsha to join him for the launch of his Blunt Gadget app. He also claimed he paid me ₦500 million to be his brand ambassador.

“He went further to say that I, Martins Vincent Otse, approved the Billpoint app.

“He printed a billboard with my face on it, falsely claiming I was his ambassador, without my permission. He also printed different fliers using my face, saying we had an agreement. All of these claims are false.

“It may also interest Nigerians to know that I have turned down ambassadorship deals worth over ₦700 million, because I intend to use my brand for something meaningful.”
