The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced the constitution of its National Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections.
The party announced the council’s formation and also released the list of its members in a statement on Sunday.
The party said the National Campaign Council will provide strategic leadership, oversee campaign activities across the country, and drive the mobilisation of Nigerians behind the party’s vision of a new, just, and prosperous Nigeria.
Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, NDC National Leader, and Peter Obi, CON, the presidential candidate of the party, will serve as the chairman and Co-chairman of the campaign council, respectively. Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe, the party’s national chairman, is named as the Vice Chairman, and the vice-presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, will serve as Co-Vice Chairman.
