The Veteran broadcaster was earlier reported to have retired from service in 2015, but was later seen anchoring programmes on the TV after the announcement of his retirement.
Although there has not been an official announcement from the Network service on his retirement, but reports gathered on social media indicate that Cyril has finally retired.
The only thing that connect me to NTA logo from the time I know what TV is till this very moment is Cyril Stober. He was always good and gracious in his work.
We thank you for your service Sir, Nigerians are very grateful. We wish you a very well and happy retirement. https://t.co/xl5sqvrc92
