President Biden

As the United States approaches the 200 million vaccine mark, the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the country continues to rise, according to the United States Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).

According to the report, new cases in the United States increased this week from an average of nearly 95,000 per day to nearly 119,000 per day, while hospitalizations increased by 25% from a month ago.

According to PBS, roughly 60% of the U.S. population is fully vaccinated, which is insufficient to prevent hot spots.

The situation is not as bad as it was last year, before the public had access to COVID-19 vaccinesCOVID-19 vaccines.

According to an article published on Wednesday by The Hill, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer said that President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate was a problem for everyone.

Cold weather, Thanksgiving celebrations, and a large increase in holiday travel are all thought to be factors, as is public fatigue with epidemic restrictions.

Under the vaccine mandate, any company with more than 100 employees must ensure that their employees are either vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo regular virus testing by January 4, 2022.
