According to Ogbemeata, the Katsina Office of the NYSC has now won the competition for the fourth time.
“The Scheduled officer SAED in Katsina state, Alhaji Ahmed Yaradua, has consistently been proclaimed the best officer in SAED for the fourth time, the last one being in 2017.
“This year’s competition took place in Abuja on Dec. 15th-16, 2021, and the award was held on Friday, Dec. 17 at the Nigeria Air force Conference Centre, Abuja.
“Katsina state office became one of the best five states in the country,” according to Ogbemeata in the statement.
He added that the Coordinator of the NYSC in Katsina, Alhaji Ahidjo Yahaya, has expressed his gratitude to the participants for their doggedness and seriousness exhibited towards the SAED activities by making the state proud.
Ogbemeata explained that Yahaya had commended the SAED Scheduled officer for the award, and called on the entire Corps members in the state to take the programme very seriously.
