Ekiti traditional ruler assure residents of unity, peace and development during his reign

Oba Adegbenro Falore, the Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, in Isokan Local Council Development Area of Ekiti State, has assured residents that his reign would promote peace, unity and development in the community.

Oba Falore gave the assurance in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ifaki Ekiti on Monday.

According to Oba Falore, his installation as the Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti started on Christmas Day last year, which he said signifies a new dawn in the town.

The traditional ruler explained that one of his major plans is to ensure the security of lives and property in the community.

He noted that no community can enjoy peace, unity and development where insecurity such as killings, rituals, kidnapping and armed robbery thrive.

“I want to assure my people that during my reign as the Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, I will ensure that peace, unity and love are paramount among us.

“We will put in place good security architecture that will promote peace, unity, love and development in our community.

“In an atmosphere of insecurity, development, peace and unity can not be achieved, but when good security measures are put in place, investors will be ready to invest in our community.

“I want to urge all the prominent sons and daughters of Ifaki-Ekiti, both at home and abroad to be free to visit the community and invest in its development.

“A new dawn that will promote peace, unity, love and development has come to stay in our community,” he said.

Oba Falore, however, assured the residents of more developmental projects in the town.
