Easter: NOA director felicitates Christians, seeks patronage of home-made goods

Oyo State Director of National Orientation Agency, Mr. Kayode Odedokun, has felicitated Christians on the 2022 Easter celebration and called on Nigerians to patronize homemade goods.

In a statement he issued on Saturday in Ibadan, the director said that Nigerians needed attitudinal change in the patronage of goods produced in Nigeria.

He said that patronage of locally-made goods would be a pathway to Nigeria’s progress, economic stability, and increased employment opportunities.

He called for moderate celebration as well as prayers for the country to overcome its challenges.

The director said that government alone could not tackle the challenges, and urged Nigerians to complement government efforts.

“We have no other country to call our own, everyone must rise up and partake in the revolution of the mind, which is the seed of all revolutions,”

“I  extend my seasonal greetings and warm regards to the state governor and all members of his cabinet;  the imperial majesties – Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, and Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Olalekan Balogun – and all the traditional council members in the state.”

“Also, I felicitate with community heads and all the people of Oyo State,” he said.
