Creative Industry Festival postponed indefinitely

Mr. Felix Duke, President, Creative Industry Group (CIG), says the Creative Industry Festival (CIFEST), earlier scheduled for May,  has been postponed to a later date.

Duke disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Lagos.

He said that some necessary measures were still needed to put in place to make the festival a well-oraganised event.

He said: “This call was made by our intending sponsors, who we are in talks with, to have a date that suits all parties.

“The current state of the economy has affected certain aspects of the success of CIFEST by May, so we were advised by the sponsors and our delegates to put a hold on it.”

“After due deliberation, members of the CIG executives concurred. A later date will be announced in the nearest future. All foreign participants in the continent and beyond as well as states in Nigeria have been duly informed.”

“The Group apologizes to all our expected and intending participants and guests for any inconvenience caused by the postponement.”
