I am following Gov. AbdulRazaq’s model of not talking but working – Kwara Utd’s boss

The Chairman of Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin, Kumbi Titiloye, says he is following the model of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara by not talking but working.Titiloye made this known to newsmen in Ilorin on Thursday while reacting to the governor’s giant strides in sports since his assumption of office three years ago.

The chairman, who maintained that if people could follow such steps, Kwara would be a wonderful state, explained that AbdulRazaq was making life easier for him and the club.

“Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is a rare human being, he gave me a job to run a football club and he has never called me in the last three years to complain about what I am doing.

“Not that I don’t make mistakes, but when he puts you somewhere, he believes you are capable, that’s why he put you there. With his silent support, Kwara United is better than before.

“Correct me if I am wrong, I don’t know anytime in the history of Kwara United that they performed two seasons consecutively in the top flight,” Titiloye said.

According to him, when it comes to welfare, what has been budgeted for the club and as passed by the assembly has never been delayed for Kwara United.

He also explained that with eight games remaining for the current Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, everyone at the club was working for the best and to finish the season in a high position.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Kwara United, which lost 1-3 to Lobi Stars of Makurdi on Wednesday in Jos, is sixth on the NPFL log with 46 points after 31 games.
