Community lauds Sen. Akwashiki over provision of infrastructure

The Ogba Community in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has commended Sen. Godiya Akwashiki (APC-Nasarawa North) for providing infrastructure to her constituents.

The community lauded the ongoing construction of over 6km road and electrification projects in the area by the legislator.

Mr Ekom Aboki, the Chairman, Ogba Youths Movement, made the commendation on Wednesday when he led other stakeholders of the community to inspect the ongoing road construction and electrification projects initiated by the lawmaker.

He said that the road and electrification projects, if completed, would boost the socio-economic activities of the people in the community and its environs.

“It will also improve on our standard of living and the living condition of other people.

“Our Distinguished Senator Godiya Akwashiki has helped and still helping our community.

“He is constructing our road from Akwanga/ Lafia main road to the community.

“He is electrifying our community. We are grateful to him and may God continue to bless him abundantly,” he said.

Ekom assured Akwashiki of their total loyalty and support at all times.

“We will continue to support him,” the youth leader declared.

The youth leader also lauded Akwashiki for his developmental strides across the senatorial zones in term of health, road, education, electricity, employment, youth and women empowerment, among others.

Besides, Aboki called on the youths and other people of the area to continue to be law-abiding, respect constituted authorities and embrace peace at all times.

Messrs Paul Abuga, Ovey Waki, Malle Moses, the Secretary, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Council, Councillor representing Ogba ward and Deputy Chairman of APC, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area, respectively, also lauded Akwashiki for his purposeful leadership.

The trio, who hailed from the community, also called on the people of the area to support APC administration to succeed beyond 2023.
