A Cleric, Ven. Feyi Ojelabi,on Sunday called on fathers to ensure all eligible members of their household obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) for 2023 general elections.
Ojelabi, the Archdeacon of Holy Trinity Anglican Church,Ikate, Lagos made the call to mark this year’s Father’s Day celebration.
He urged fathers to ensure every member of their family obtain a PVC to vote in the forthcoming elections irrespective of their belief.
According to the vicar, Father’s Day recognises how important fathers are in both home and nation building.
“Fathers, after work, should spend more time with their family members and raise Godfearing children.
“I challenge us all to ensure that we register as that is what we all need now, irrespective of our belief to vote a candidate of our choice in 2023.
