China sets world record in steady high magnetic field research

Chinese scientists on Friday produced a steady field of 45.22 Tesla, the highest steady magnetic field by a working magnet in the world.

This is according to the Hefei Institute of Physical Science under the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The achievement occurred at the hybrid magnet of the Steady High Magnetic Field Facility in the city of Hefei, Anhui Province.

It breaks the previous world record of 45 Tesla created in 1999 by a hybrid magnet at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory of the United States.

In other news ,the APC  Senatorial candidate for Benue South in the 2023 election, Mr Daniel Onjeh, has  condoled  Benue-born music legend, Mr  Bongos Ikwue over the death of his wife, Josephine  Ikwue.

Onjeh in a statement said that Josephine’s death at this time was painful, saying that she would be missed as a firm believer in the Nigeria Project.

“Mama Josephine was very active in the Church and the community and was fully integrated into the Idoma culture”, Onjeh said.

Onjeh enjoined the music legend who is a community leader and entrepreneur, to be consoled by the fact that his late wife was a staunch believer of Jesus Christ.

He prayed God to grant her a peaceful rest and continue to comfort and console the families, friends, fellow parishioners and the community she left behind.

Late Josephine, who was 73 years old before her death, hailed from the Ijeh royal family in Issele–Uku town in Delta state.
