Gov. Mai Mala Buni of Yobe on Tuesday decorated his Aide-De-Camp (ADC), Hassan Misau, with his new rank of Superintendent of Police (SP).
A statement by Buni’s Director-General (DG), Press and Media Affairs, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, in Damaturu, said the governor was assisted by Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG), Zannah Ibrahim.
Mohammed said Buni congratulated the ADC and charged him to remain committed to duty, saying much was expected of him on the new rank.
“You should execute your duties creditably well to reflect your new rank and to justify the elevation,” he quoted the governor as saying.
In his remarks, Ibrahim said that the new rank came with additional responsibilities and renewed dedication to duty.
He charged the ADC to remain committed to his duties and always be a good ambassador of the police.
