Mr Monsuru Akinloye, Chairman, Eredo Local Council Development Area, in Epe Division, has upgraded 56 roads to ease gridlock within the council.<\/p>\n

Akinloye told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in an interview in Eredo-Epe, on Wednesday that his intervention was to put the roads in better condition for use by commuters, commercial\/private vehicles and residents.<\/p>\n

According to him, the roads were in terrible condition, hence, the need to put them in order.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am a listening leader; I listen and act to my people\u2019s demands because they are the ones that voted me into power.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I am doing is looking back and giving back to the community that entrusts their mandate to me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Akinloye urged residents to go and get their Personal Voters Cards (PVC<\/a>) ahead of the forthcoming election.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are no polling units on the social media, therefore, get your PVC to cast your vote wisely,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
