Sen. Sani Musa, a National Chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC),<\/a> has pledged to restore Nigeria\u2019s glorious days and take her back to the prosperous years, if elected.<\/p>\n

Musa, who represents Niger East Senatorial District in the Senate, made the pledge after picking his registration form as a contestant for the coveted APC Chairmanship position scheduled for the elective convention on March 26.<\/p>\n

A statement issued by his Media Adviser, Nasir Mohammed, in Abuja on Wednesday said that Musa spoke in a chat with journalists shortly after purchasing his form.<\/p>\n

Mohammed said that the aspirant has acknowledged that Nigeria has witnessed rapid infrastructural development in the railways, roads and aviation sector, among others.<\/p>\n

\u201cA ruling party under my watch will not only continue the great strides of President Muhammdu Buhari, but will fine-tune some other policies and execute them diligently to achieve greater results for the citizenry,\u201d\u00a0 the aspirant was quoted as saying.<\/p>\n

The chairmanship aspirant also commended Buhari \u201dfor rescuing the party from the brink of collapse with his intervention on the debacle witnessed on account of the APC Caretaker Committee Chairman\u2019s absence.<\/p>\n

\u201cSen Musa, who is seen as a front-runner in the race because of his forthrightness and life devoid of blemish, praised Buhari for allowing a level playing field for all the aspirants to contest.<\/p>\n
