{"id":15385,"date":"2022-03-22T09:09:12","date_gmt":"2022-03-22T09:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/?p=15385"},"modified":"2022-03-22T10:56:58","modified_gmt":"2022-03-22T10:56:58","slug":"firstbank-splashes-n4m-on-customers-in-verve-card-promo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/03\/22\/firstbank-splashes-n4m-on-customers-in-verve-card-promo\/","title":{"rendered":"FirstBank splashes N4m on customers in Verve Card promo"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\" aria-label=\"Content\">300 customers were rewarded with the sum of N4 million by First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. at the bank\u2019s ongoing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/02\/19\/first-bank-vows-to-support-upcoming-music-stars-in-the-entertainment-industry\/\">Verve Card campaign.<\/a><\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The bank made this known in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday by its Group Executive, e-Business &amp; Retail Products of FirstBank, Mr Chuma Ezirim.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ezirim, the customers were rewarded in the sixth week of the promo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne hundred customers won N10,000 airtime and another set of 100 customers won N10,000 cash prize for transacting at least two times in the week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c100 customers won N20,000 cash prize for transacting at least four times in the week,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Ezirim noted that the promo was designed to appreciate customers for their continued usage and adoption of the card for various digitally-driven transactions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are happy with the ongoing verve debit card promo designed to appreciate customers for their continued usage and adoption of the card for various digitally-driven transactions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the promo being instrumental to reinforcing the value placed by customers on its versatile capabilities, we encourage the continued usage of the verve card as it is a card offering that promotes safe, convenient, and rewarding digital banking service to customers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Ezirim who stated that a total of 651 prizes will be won over the next three weeks in the promo noted that 200 people would win N10,000 cash.<\/p>\n<p>He also revealed that 300 customers will win N10,000 worth of airtime while 300 customers will be awarded N20,000 cash.<\/p>\n<p>The Verve Card campaign will also see 50 customers win various household items such as generator, tabletop refrigerator and gas cooker or N50,000 cash prize every four weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Ezirim added that one customer would win the star prize of a brand new 2022 Suzuki S-Presso car for transacting 16 times during the period of the promo.<\/p>\n<p>The Verve debit card is a Naira-denominated debit card that offers a convenient, fast, and secured payment for goods and services.<\/p>\n<p>It is accepted on all channels connected to the Verve International network where the Interswitch\/ Verve logo is displayed; Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Point of Sales (POS), and Web in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>300 customers were rewarded with the sum of N4 million by First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. at the bank\u2019s ongoing Verve Card campaign. &nbsp; The bank made this known in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday by its Group Executive, e-Business &amp; Retail Products of FirstBank, Mr Chuma Ezirim.
