Otto Addo, the coach of Black Stars of Ghana, says his team will surprise Nigeria\u2019s Super Eagles by securing the 2022 FIFA World Cup<\/strong><\/a> ticket in Abuja.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n

Addo made this known while speaking to newsmen at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Monday.<\/p>\n

He stated that he’s optimistic Ghana will end up victorious on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Addo noted that he’s confidence comes as a result of Ghana’s performance in the first leg noting that they would now improve on their performance in the return leg fixture in Abuja.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a good team, and we played well in Ghana. We will improve on this, because we are here to push more, and we are determined.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Moreover, I don\u2019t see myself being under pressure, because it is a privilege to play against the Super Eagles in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are not better than the Super Eagles and the Super Eagles are not better than us.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we are here to improve on our game until we are satisfied with our performance and score some goals,\u201d the coach said.<\/p>\n

Speaking also, Gideon Mensah, a Black Stars player, said they would maintain the team spirit in their return match against the Super Eagles.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will do better than what we did in Kumasi, we are not just thinking of qualifying, we must qualify from tomorrow\u2019s match,\u201d Gideon said.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will host the Black Stars of Ghana in their return match on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium from 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

Nigeria and Ghana had played a goalless draw in their first leg game in Kumasi on Friday.<\/p>\n
