Utazi right to purchase Senate nomination form"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/04\/11\/no-crisis-at-nsukka-pdp-stakeholders-meeting-party-chairman\/\"><strong>Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),<\/strong><\/a> Enugu State Chapter, has debunked claims making the rounds that Sen. Chukwuka Utazi, was denied the right to purchase the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the Senate seat.<\/p>\n<p>Utazi, representing Enugu North Senatorial District, was rumoured to have denied the right \u201cfor allegedly insulting the State Vice-Chairman (West) of our great party, Dr Okey Ozoani\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Enugu State PDP described the claims as \u201cspurious, fake and ridiculous\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This is contained in a statement by the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr Jude Ugwu, which was made available to newsmen in Enugu on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the party, the claims are \u201cthe handiwork of a few traducers notorious for their street-level mendacities\u201d, stressing that \u201cThose who are pandering to these mischievous spins are unnecessarily muddying the waters\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>PDP disclosed that Utazi is one of the shining examples of Enugu\u2019s contribution to the Red Chambers and has religiously contributed to the success of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from inception.<\/p>\n<p>It added that the \u201cEnugu State Chapter of the party is therefore proudly associated with the Senator for his robust, enviable and indelible contributions towards the sustenance of our democracy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>However, the party urged members of the public to ignore the baseless, unfounded and vexatious claims, dubiously contrived by purveyors of deep-seated discord.<\/p>\n<p>It said the party enjoined its \u201cteeming party faithful and the general public to note that such outlandish and unsubstantiated news is not only fake and ridiculous, but the handiwork of a few traducers notorious for their street-level mendacities\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Enugu State Chapter, has debunked claims making the rounds that Sen.
