\u00a0The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) on Tuesday in Kano urged unemployed youths to embrace its agriculture as part of measures towards wealth creation and poverty reduction.<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

The Kano State NDE Coordinator, Mr Idris Sani-Yakasai, said this in an interview with our correspondent on the sideline of a training for youths<\/a> on sustainable agriculture.<\/p>\n

The training had as its theme: \u201cSustainable Agricultural<\/a> Development Training Scheme (SADTS)\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sani-Yakasai said the scheme was introduced to encourage youths embrace to agriculture as a business enterprise.<\/p>\n

He said the directorate had put in place core programmes to tackle unemployment, among which, was the Rural Employment<\/a> Promotion (REP).<\/p>\n

\u201cNDE is up and doing in creating employment opportunities for unemployed Nigerians with a view to reducing poverty and creating wealth amongst them.<\/p>\n
