The Iwuanyanwu Foundation, a non-profit organisation, has sponsored 27 graduate youths on automobile engineering at the Innoson Kiara Academy in Imo.<\/p>\n

Reports that the beneficiaries came on a thank-you visit to the Chairman<\/a> of the foundation, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, in his Owerri residence on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Mr Lazarus Vincent, said they undertook a one-year intensive training<\/a> of six months theoretical work and six months practicals.<\/p>\n

He thanked Iwuanyanwu for his \u201cfatherly disposition and milk of human kindness\u201d.
\nHe promised that they would deploy the skills they acquired in advancing the automobile engineering sector in Imo and Nigeria at large.<\/p>\n

In a remark, Iwuanyanwu congratulated them on their successful completion of the one-year programme<\/a> at the academy, which is a division of the Innoson Group.<\/p>\n

According to him, the trainees were drawn from the 27 local government areas of Imo.
\nHe\u00a0further said that the decision to sponsor the training was \u201cborne out of my desire to give back to society and create jobs for unemployed youths<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n

He advised them \u201cto be honest, efficient and patriotic\u201d in all their undertakings.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is my desire that you grow by leaps and bounds, that you blaze the trail in vehicle maintenance in Nigeria and be able to give back to society also.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs long as God permits and to the limit of our ability, we will continue to contribute our quota to national development<\/a>,\u201d he said.
\nIwuanyanwu thanked the management of Innoson Group for \u201ca healthy partnership, which has resulted in the production of 27 duly trained automobile engineering experts\u201d.<\/p>\n

He reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment through formal training in skill<\/a> acquisition.<\/p>\n

The business mogul appealed to Nigerians and government at all levels to patronise the Innoson brand of vehicles.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a major way to grow Nigeria\u2019s economy and encourage local content and patronage of indigenous products,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said that the foundation had so far sponsored at least 5,000 youths in different specialised fields through scholarships<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
