The Ekiti State Government has announced that vehicular movement across the state will be restricted on Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.<\/h2>\n

Mr Biodun Omoleye, Chief of Staff to Gov. Kayode Fayemi, stated in a statement issued on Friday in Ado-Ekiti that the restriction is in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the state’s local government elections<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Only those on essential and electoral assignments, according to Omoleye, are exempt from the restriction.<\/p>\n

Omoleye went on to say that students taking NECO exams across the state who have valid identification would be allowed to move freely.<\/p>\n

He asked the people of the state to work with him to ensure a smooth and peaceful election.<\/p>\n

Omoleye reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to the safety of every citizen of the state before, during, and after the election.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
