The Enugu State 2022 Federation Cup competition has been scheduled to begin on May 3 with 16 teams slated to battle it out in the first stanza.<\/p>\n

According to the fixtures signed by the Enugu State Football Association Secretary, Francis Ugwu, and made available to newsmen in Enugu<\/a> on Wednesday, the teams will feature in the first stage of the competition.<\/p>\n

After the first round of matches, eight teams are expected to advance into round two and the winners would proceed to the third round.<\/p>\n

The final two teams would join the National League clubs<\/a> in the second stage, slated for between May 17 and May 18.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis time around, the winners of the second stage would join Rangers International FC for the finals on a date yet to be fixed,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n

The fixtures showed that two matches would take place each day at the Rangers training pitch located inside the Liberty Estate.<\/p>\n

Reports have it that the Federation Cup is operated in a knockout format.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
