The community Head of Kamfanin Zangon-Aya in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Saleh Ahmed, has called on the state government to station security personnel in his community.<\/p>\n
Ahmed made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Kaduna.<\/span><\/p>\n He said gunmen operating along Kaduna-Zaria road have been attacking motorists, including traders patronising the market in his community due to inadequate security personnel in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOur people are mostly into agricultural business, we farm and sell our produce during market days, but we do not have a bank close by which we can deposit money after transaction.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThough some banks have shown interest in bringing their branches to our community, the lack of security discourages them\u201d, he said.<\/span><\/p>\n Ahmed, however, commended the Kaduna State Government for providing schools, water and hospitals in the community.<\/span><\/p>\n He urged the government to provide more classrooms to accommodate the growing number of students in the area<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The community Head of Kamfanin Zangon-Aya in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Saleh Ahmed, has called on the state government to station security personnel in his community.
