The FRSC state Sector Commander, Mr Ali Sule, gave the figure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Katsina.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/header>\n

\n

Sule said that 538 corps members were mobilised toward achieving a zero-tolerance accident during the celebrations.<\/p>\n

According to him, 438 regular and 100 irregular marshals have been engaged to take part in the unique campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have already set up a mobile court from April 27, 2022, against erring motorists during the occasion.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe court will operate and wind up on May 4, 2022. Our concern is to ensure that no life is lost during the celebration.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sule said that the agency would collaborate with other security agencies in the state like the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency<\/a> (NDLEA) and the police to ensure sanity on the highways.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will ensure motorists do not drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol; traffic rules and regulations must be observed toward reducing crashes on the highways to the barest minimum.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sule noted that the agency had organised enlightenment and sensitisation rallies at motor parks and other designated centres in the state.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
