The Federal Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI)<\/a>, said it would partner with the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC)<\/a> to implement rules and regulations of the Civil Service.<\/p>\n

The Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Monilola Udoh, said this when officials of the ICPC on the development of ethics and compliance scorecard and Anti-Corruption Transparency Unit paid her a visit in Abuja on Monday.<\/p>\n

The Permanent Secretary said the collaboration would facilitate the development and growth of the nation.<\/p>\n

She observed that the Civil Service drives the policies and activities of government for socio-economic progress.<\/p>\n

She called for more staff members’ welfare and motivation to encourage civil servants on prompt service delivery.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Dio Emmanuel, Assistant Commissioner of ICPC, said the visit was for an integrity check and to score the Permanent Secretary in line with the rules of the ICPC.<\/p>\n

Emmanuel said that the ministry\u2019s scorecard over time was high and that there was substantial compliance by the ministry.<\/p>\n
