Gov. Hope Uzodimma of Imo<\/a> has felicitated Justice Olukayode Ariwoola on his appointment as acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ariwoola\u00a0was sworn-in by President Muhammadu Buhari<\/a> on Monday to replace Justice Tanko\u00a0Muhammad\u00a0who resigned from office on health ground.<\/p>\n

In a statement\u00a0issued by\u00a0Uzodimma\u00a0on Tuesday, he described the new chief justice as\u00a0\u201ctailor-made for the job.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith more than 11 years at the Supreme Court and the judicial experience that traversed Lagos, Enugu and Kaduna Divisions of Appeal\u00a0Court, the new chief justice is\u00a0tailor-made for the job,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

According to the governor,\u00a0Nigerians are indeed looking forward to a more robust and responsive judiciary that will sustain the gains of democracy under Ariwoola\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n
