Deputy Chief Imam of Kafanchan Central Mosque in Kaduna State, Ibrahim Musa, has urged Muslims<\/a> in Nigeria to use the Eid-el-Kabir<\/a> period to pray for peace and God’s guidance for leaders.<\/p>\n

Musa made the call on Saturday while speaking with newsmen shortly after the Eid prayers.<\/p>\n

Musa said the occasion offers an opportunity to seek divine intervention on the issue of banditry and kidnapping that had become widespread in the country.<\/p>\n

The cleric prayed God to grant the country\u2019s leaders the wisdom to overcome the current security challenges.<\/p>\n

The Emir of Jema\u2019a, Muhammadu Muhammadu, in his Sallah message, enjoined Muslims to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and love for one another as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).<\/p>\n

Muhammadu urged the faithful to thank Allah for sparing their lives to witness yet another Sallah celebration.<\/p>\n
