{"id":36637,"date":"2022-07-28T06:47:15","date_gmt":"2022-07-28T06:47:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/?p=36637"},"modified":"2022-07-28T06:47:15","modified_gmt":"2022-07-28T06:47:15","slug":"nasfat-will-continue-to-promote-peoples-wellbeing-chief-missioner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/07\/28\/nasfat-will-continue-to-promote-peoples-wellbeing-chief-missioner\/","title":{"rendered":"NASFAT Will continue to promote people\u2019s wellbeing- Chief Missioner"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\" aria-label=\"Content\">\n<p class=\"entry-title\">The Chief Missioner, Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Abdul-Azeez Onike, says the society will continue to promote members&#8217; and non-members\u2019 wellbeing by vigorously pursuing the health agenda of its HELD policy (Health, Education, Livelihood and Da\u2019wah).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_308729\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-308729\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-308729 size-medium\" style=\"font-size: 16px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.portal.nannews.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG-20220727-WA0062-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-308729\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Imam Abdul-Azeez Onike, the Chief Missioner of NASFAT (left), exchanging pleasantries with Sheikh Olowooribi, the Chief Imam of Ikoroduland, Lagos State, Nigeria.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Onike made the assertions in a statement he made available in Asaba on Wednesday on the inauguration of a modern health centre built by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/07\/18\/nasfat-enrols-members-into-lagos-health-insurance-scheme\/\">NASFAT<\/a>, Ikorodu branch.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, NASFAT, having realised that the government alone cannot provide all the social amenities for the citizenry, will continue to be partners in progress with the government in ensuring improved wellbeing of the community.<\/p>\n<p>Onike said, \u201cOur Noble Prophet (PBUH) underscored the importance of health in our lives when he said: \u2018there are two blessings which many people do not appreciate: health and leisure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He (PBUH) said regarding good health, \u201cNo blessing other than faith is better than well-being.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While commending the initiators of the laudable project, Onike prayed for all those that contributed to the building of the health centre.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAllah will consider it as a recurring charity for them, going by the hadith,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Onike commended members of Ikorodu branch of the society for being among the branches that established health centres, following the footsteps of the Abidjan branch in Cote di voire, Osogbo branch, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the NASFAT President, Mr Niyi Yusuf, said that the society\u2019s commitment was a matter of necessity, to impact the lives of Nigerians, irrespective of their faith, tribe, colour, gender or creed, as demonstrated in the HELD agenda of the society.<\/p>\n<p>Yusuf said that, though NASFAT is a faith-based society, the mission\/vision \u201cis not focussing on religious matters alone, but rather all areas that concern the growth, welfare and development of humanity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Chief Missioner, Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Abdul-Azeez Onike, says the society will continue to promote members&#8217; and non-members\u2019 wellbeing by vigorously pursuing the health agenda of its HELD policy (Health, Education, Livelihood and Da\u2019wah).
