education sector<\/a> to human and societal development.<\/p>\nThe Chairman, Nasarawa State Chapter of the association, Shuaibu Sani, made the call in Lafia when the state executive members of the association visited the Vice Chancellor of Federal University (FU) Lafia, Prof. Abdulrahman Shehu<\/p>\n
He said that the institution had produced personalities in the country, hence the need for members to give to the school what the school has made them.<\/p>\n
\u201d Our institution, ABU has graduated many personalities that have and still contributing immensely to the development of the country.<\/p>\n
\u201d It is in view of this that I want to call on members of ABU Alumni to contribute positively to the growth and development of the country.<\/p>\n
\u201d This is by also contributing to the development of the institution due to the importance of education to the society. No society will achieve meaningful progress and development without a sound education,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He commended the members of the association, who were contributing positively to the development of the institution and called for its sustenance.<\/p>\n
Responding, the Vice Chancellor of the FULafia, appreciated the executive members of the association for their visit.<\/p>\n
He assured of his readiness to support the association in the state to succeed.<\/p>\n
