The All Progressives Congress<\/a><\/strong> (APC) has denied alleged plans to remove its Adamawa chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, from office.<\/p>\n

Mr Raymond Chidama, the state APC secretary, said this when he spoke with newsmen in Yola on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Chidama described the allegation as baseless and unfounded, saying that it was the handiwork of opposition parties.<\/p>\n

He said that contrary to the rumours, there was unity among all stakeholders in the state toward winning the 2023 General Election.<\/p>\n

In other news,\u00a0 the Nasarawa State Government<\/a> on Thursday renewed its commitment to the provision of infrastructure development in order to improve the standard of living of the people in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Mr Yahaya Adams, the Special Adviser to Gov. Abdullahi Sule on Rural and Community Development, said this while inspecting ongoing construction of rural roads in Nasarawa South Senatorial district.<\/p>\n

He said that Sule had embarked on the provision of infrastructure in order to tackle poverty and boost the socio-economic activities in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis inspection visit is to ascertain the quality of work done so far with the view of correcting any abnormality, if discovered.<\/p>\n

\u201cGov. Sule has embarked and still embarking on development projects in order to improve on the standard of living of our people.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs this will help in tackling poverty and boost the socio-economic activities of the people of the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the importance for the\u00a0provision of Infrastructure to human and societal development could not be overemphasised,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Adams expressed happiness with the quality of work done so far, saying that the state government is determined to provide more infrastructures in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel happy with the good works done so far, plans are on for the provision of more projects across the state,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The special adviser therefore called on the people of the state to continue to support the governor to succeed beyond 2023 in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.<\/p>\n

Also speaking, Mr Rilwanu Abubakar, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to governor on Rural and Community Development, commended\u00a0Sule for keying into people\u2019s oriented projects in the state.<\/p>\n

He said that the governor\u2019s developmental strides across the state had impacted on the lives of its citizens.<\/p>\n

Reports have it that some of the projects inspected are the Obi\/Assakio road, Agwade\/Atabula road, Idadu\/ Agbashi road, St. John Bosco\/Government College road, all in Southern part of the state<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
