Three men, Abiodun Rafiu, Alaska Oladipo and Umar Jemilu, on Tuesday appeared before an Ikorodu Magistrates\u2019 Court, Lagos State<\/a>, for alleged theft of an excavator worth\u00a0 for four million Naira.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/header>\n

Rafiu, 38, Oladipo, 36, and Jemilu, 45, were\u00a0 charged with conspiracy and stealing.<\/p>\n

They, however, pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n

The prosecutor, Insp Adegeshin Famuyiwa, told the court that the defendants conspired to steal the machine belonging Larale Ultimate Ltd.<\/p>\n

He said that the defendants\u00a0committed the offences at 8.30 a.m. on Aug. 15\u00a0 on Alhaji Oseni Street, Igbogbo, Ikorodu.<\/p>\n

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 411 and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.<\/p>\n

Magistrate O. A. Ogbe admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N50,000 each, with a surety each in like sum.<\/p>\n
