The new Permanent Secretary, Political Affairs, Office of the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State<\/a> (SSG), <\/span>Abdulkareem Bala, has urged civil servants to embrace teamwork.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bala gave the advice on Monday in Lafia while speaking with newsmen after a visit by his Alma Mater, GSS Gindiri, Jos.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said that teamwork, unity, and peaceful co-existence, would promote optimal productivity and speedy development in the civil service and the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

The permanent secretary also pledged his commitment to the development of civil service, the state, and the country at large.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI want to appreciate you for rejoicing with me over my appointment. I want to thank Gov. Abdullahi Sule for appointing me as Permanent Secretary,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bala advised civil servants to be committed to their responsibilities and be transparent while discharging their duties.<\/span><\/p>\n

He called for unity and peaceful co-existence among ethnic nationalities in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said that no society achieves meaningful progress and development without unity and peace.<\/span><\/p>\n
