On Tuesday, an Ile-Ife Magistrates’ Court<\/a> ruled that a 27-year-old man, Seun Fisayo, be kept in custody pending a bail application.<\/p>\n

Fisayo was charged with theft by the police.<\/p>\n

Magistrate Olusola Aluko, who denied bail to the defendant, asked Defence Counsel M.A. Adeyemi to file a written bail application for consideration.<\/p>\n

As a result, Aluko remanded the defendant in the Ile-Ife Nigerian Correctional Centre.<\/p>\n

The magistrate adjourned the case until January 27 for further consideration.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Prosecution Counsel, Insp Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the defendant committed the crime on December 9, around 02:20 p.m., at No 9, Irepodun Mokuro Line 3, Ile-Ife.<\/p>\n

According to Osanyintuyi, the defendant stole 350 catfish worth N1 million from Mr Feyemi Nicholas.<\/p>\n
