{"id":43847,"date":"2022-10-13T15:37:17","date_gmt":"2022-10-13T15:37:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/?p=43847"},"modified":"2022-10-13T15:37:17","modified_gmt":"2022-10-13T15:37:17","slug":"court-remands-brick-layer-for-impersonation-anal-sex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/10\/13\/court-remands-brick-layer-for-impersonation-anal-sex\/","title":{"rendered":"Court remands brick layer for impersonation, anal sex"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">A Magistrates\u2019Court in Kafanchan, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/08\/10\/kaduna-state-lgs-amendment-bill-scales-2nd-reading\/\">Kaduna State<\/a>, has ordered that a 37-year-old bricklayer, Christopher Luka, be remanded in a correctional facility for alleged impersonation and anal sex.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Luka was charged by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/09\/07\/pipeline-vandalism-nscdc-arrests-426-suspects-impounds-trucks-others\/\">Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)<\/a> with impersonation and unnatural offense, contrary to sections 142 and 259 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The NSCDC prosecutor, Marcus Audu, told the court that one Elison Joseph reported the matter at the Corp\u2019s office in Kafanchan on Sept.29.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Audu said the defendant paraded himself as a police officer before the complainant and promised to secure a job for him with Nigeria Police.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He said the defendant then invited the complainant over to his house to meet his superior for the job interview.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">On reaching the house, the defendant told the complainant that his elder brother was involved in an accident which affected his sexual performance and the doctor was demanding for semen.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The defendant was said to have deceived the complainant and collected his sperm in a bottle and also had sexual intercourse with him through the anus.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The presiding judge, Michael Bawa, however, did not take the defendant\u2019s plea for lack of jurisdiction to hear the matter.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Bawa directed the prosecutor to forward the case file to the State Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He adjourned the matter until Nov.1 for further mention.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Magistrates\u2019Court in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, has ordered that a 37-year-old bricklayer, Christopher Luka, be remanded in a correctional facility for alleged impersonation and anal sex.
