{"id":43934,"date":"2022-10-14T14:59:21","date_gmt":"2022-10-14T14:59:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/?p=43934"},"modified":"2022-10-14T14:59:21","modified_gmt":"2022-10-14T14:59:21","slug":"omoleye-ekiti-award-winner-restates-commitment-to-humanitarian-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/10\/14\/omoleye-ekiti-award-winner-restates-commitment-to-humanitarian-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Omoleye, Ekiti award winner, restates commitment to humanitarian services"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\" aria-label=\"Content\">The National Public Relations Officer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/05\/16\/ndlea-urges-youths-to-shun-drug-abuse-addiction\/\">National Youths Council of Nigeria (NYCN)<\/a>, Adedotun Omoleye, says he will do more in rendering humanitarian services that will positively impact Nigerians.<\/p>\n<p>Omoleye spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti, while commenting on the award given to him by the outgoing Governor of Ekiti, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/10\/11\/apc-governors-oyegun-others-eulogise-fayemi-at-valedictory-lecture\/\">Dr. Kayode Fayemi<\/a>, in recognition of his contributions to the development of humanity.<\/p>\n<p>He was conferred with the honour of \u201cEkiti Outstanding Youth Award\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<figure id=\"attachment_418482\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-418482\" style=\"width: 179px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-418482 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.portal.nannews.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG-20221013-WA0142-179x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-418482\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Governor-elect of Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji, handing over the award to the recipient, Mr Adedotun Omoleye, on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>NAN reports that Omoleye is the Founder of an NGO, CAMO Legacy Foundation, which had empowered many Ekiti indigenes in their various skills and as well given scholarships to some indigent students in the society.<\/p>\n<p>Fayemi had on Tuesday conferred the award on Omoleye, alongside other worthy youth leaders for displaying the core value of the \u201cOmoluabi\u201d with which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/10\/10\/fayemi-approves-dissolution-of-governing-councils-of-higher-institutions-in-ekiti\/\">Ekiti<\/a> people were globally renowned.<\/p>\n<p>The award recipient thanked the outgoing governor for counting him worthy of the honour.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy family and I are grateful to His Excellency, Gov. Kayode Fayemi, for this great honour,\u201d Omoleye said.<\/p>\n<p>He described the award as a motivation, which would further energise him to offer more services to the people of Ekiti and the nation at large.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn award of this nature is not just for funfare as it comes with added responsibility for me to rededicate myself to humanitarian services that can impact deeper on our people and community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe that in any given opportunity, it should be about service to the community, country and humanity as a whole,\u201d Omoleye said.<\/p>\n<p>He said that leadership should be embraced as the key to solving the challenges confronting the community, state and nation.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, I feel greatly indebted to our outgoing Governor for finding me worthy to be conferred with this award,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Public Relations Officer, National Youths Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Adedotun Omoleye, says he will do more in rendering humanitarian services that will positively impact Nigerians.
