{"id":46222,"date":"2022-10-26T15:52:35","date_gmt":"2022-10-26T15:52:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/?p=46222"},"modified":"2022-10-26T15:52:35","modified_gmt":"2022-10-26T15:52:35","slug":"police-arraign-2-for-allegedly-stealing-car-worth-n35m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/10\/26\/police-arraign-2-for-allegedly-stealing-car-worth-n35m\/","title":{"rendered":"Police arraign 2 for allegedly stealing car worth N35m"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/10\/26\/police-dock-2-men-for-allegedly-stealing-vehicle-spare-parts-worth-n3-2m\/\"><strong>Nigeria Police Force<\/strong><\/a> on Wednesday arraigned two men: Frank Emmanuel, 20, and Sheriff Oladokun, 25, in an Iyaganku Magistrates\u2019 Court, Ibadan for allegedly stealing a Mercedes Benz (E300) car worth N35million.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects whose residential addresses were not provided were charged with conspiracy and stealing.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor, Mr Philip Amusan, told the court that the defendants allegedly committed the offences on Aug.6, at 10.00 a.m., at Ido area of Ibadan.<\/p>\n<p>He alleged that the defendants stole the car belonging to one Quadri Oguntoye.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the defendants also allegedly stole N1.1million cash belonging to Oguntoye.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the offences contravened Sections 516 and 390 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.<\/p>\n<p>The magistrate, Mrs O. A.
