{"id":46561,"date":"2022-10-28T06:53:49","date_gmt":"2022-10-28T06:53:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/?p=46561"},"modified":"2022-10-28T06:53:49","modified_gmt":"2022-10-28T06:53:49","slug":"oyetola-makinde-flags-off-rehabilitation-of-n24bn-osogbo-iwo-osogbo-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/10\/28\/oyetola-makinde-flags-off-rehabilitation-of-n24bn-osogbo-iwo-osogbo-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Oyetola, Makinde flags off rehabilitation of N24bn Osogbo-Iwo-Osogbo Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Osun state Governor, Gboyega Oyetola and his counterpart, the Oyo State Governor, Seyii Makinde, has inaugurated the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the 84.6km Osogbo -Iwo-Ibadan Road, valued at N24 billion on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Osun state Governor while speaking at the ceremony, said that the road was one of the internal roads of the Old Oyo State that linked Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, with Osogbo, the Osun capital.<\/p>\n<p>The internal road is linked via different towns and villages, including the ancient town of Iwo.<\/p>\n<p>Oyetola commended Makinde for putting aside their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/08\/30\/strong-political-will-sanitation-financing-crucial-for-defecation-free-nigeria-coordinator\/\">political differences<\/a> to collaborate with the Osun government.<\/p>\n<p>He said the project would further entrench regional integration.
