{"id":5017,"date":"2021-12-17T07:42:29","date_gmt":"2021-12-17T07:42:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/?p=5017"},"modified":"2021-12-17T07:42:29","modified_gmt":"2021-12-17T07:42:29","slug":"frsc-confirm-death-of-motorcyclist-in-anambra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2021\/12\/17\/frsc-confirm-death-of-motorcyclist-in-anambra\/","title":{"rendered":"FRSC confirm death of motorcyclist in Anambra\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Anambra, has confirmed that a speeding truck driver on Thursday killed a motorcycle operator on Igbo Ukwu-Uga Road in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mr Adeoye Irelewuyi, the Sector Commander, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2021\/12\/16\/yuletide-frsc-starts-special-patrol-dec-17-in-ogun\/\">Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)<\/a> in Anambra, confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to Irelewuyi, the accident, which occurred at about 5.10 p.m., was caused by speeding and lost of control.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThe crash involved an unidentified driver of a red Mack Tipper with registration Number: JJ496QF and an unidentified rider of a Lifan motorcycle with no registration number.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWitness report indicates that the driver of the tipper was on top speed; he lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the oncoming motorcycle in a single carriage way and crashed.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThree male adults were involved in the crash.
