The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN<\/a>), Sango-Ota Chapter, has appealed to its members to shun any act capable of disturbing peace, especially during the yuletide.<\/p>\n

The General Secretary, Alhaji Lateef Deinde, made the appeal in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Ota, Ogun.<\/p>\n

Deinde also implored them to exercise patience during the yuletide so that the society, and the entire country, could experience total peace.<\/p>\n

He, however, warned the public to desist from boarding vehicles at unauthorised places, especially during the festive period to avoid being victims of ritual killers and kidnappers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are appealing to the public to enter vehicles at accredited parks and garages to fill all necessary papers while travelling.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition, we all should refrain from any act that could jeopardise the peace of the country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
