{"id":6808,"date":"2021-12-23T14:54:39","date_gmt":"2021-12-23T14:54:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/?p=6808"},"modified":"2021-12-23T14:54:39","modified_gmt":"2021-12-23T14:54:39","slug":"fct-education-management-employees-tasked-to-tackle-challenges-confronting-education-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2021\/12\/23\/fct-education-management-employees-tasked-to-tackle-challenges-confronting-education-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"FCT Education management, employees tasked to tackle challenges confronting education sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Directors and staff in the Education Secretariat of the FCT Administration have been charged to map out strategies to tackle challenges confronting its education sector.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Malam Kabiru Musa, Assistant Director, Information, stated on Thursday in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He stated that FCT <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2021\/12\/16\/fct-minister-reveals-land-swap-programme-will-save-fg-n1trn\/\">Secretary for Education Secretariat, Alhaji Sani El-Katuzu<\/a>, threw the challenge during his familiarisation visit to the Secretariat\u2019s boards and departments.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Musa quoted El-Katuzu as saying the challenge became necessary because he was determined to restore the lost glory of the sector without compromising standards.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Also directed that every service rendered by each board and department should enhance the attainment of good education for the overall development of the FCT.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He commended the boards and departments for their efforts to ensure that education in the FCT held a place of pride.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">El-Katuzu expressed delight at the ongoing e-Education platform registration established by the Department of Policy, Planning, Research and Statistics.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He said he was impressed by the e-Education platform and assured that every support needed would be given for its success.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThis will enable FCT schools to move from paper to paperless experience as expected in a digitalised world where FCT Schools could be accessed and also meet up with global practices.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">El-Katuzu urged everyone to bring visible improvement to education in the fulfilment of their mandates.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Director of the Education Department, Dr Sani Ladan had earlier explained to the Education Secretary that the e-Education platform is FCT\u2019s online multimedia education portal.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ladan said all schools in the FCT were expected to register their employees on the portal to enable them to log in and access e-lessons plans, e-notes, e-scheme of work and e-time-table.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Directors and staff in the Education Secretariat of the FCT Administration have been charged to map out strategies to tackle challenges confronting its education sector.
