{"id":7928,"date":"2022-01-04T08:24:44","date_gmt":"2022-01-04T08:24:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/?p=7928"},"modified":"2022-01-04T08:24:44","modified_gmt":"2022-01-04T08:24:44","slug":"american-corner-pelse-consulting-partner-to-upscale-50-smes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/01\/04\/american-corner-pelse-consulting-partner-to-upscale-50-smes\/","title":{"rendered":"American corner, pelse consulting partner to upscale 50 SMEs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>American Corner, a United States Consulate initiative in partnership with Pelse consulting, have unveiled an accelerator programme for 50 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2021\/12\/11\/n5m-grants-disbursed-to-16-women-cooperatives-in-sokoto-smedan\/\">Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs<\/a>) in Q1, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The Managing Partner, Pelse Consulting, Mr Oluwafemi Boboye, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>Boboye stated that the programme which would cover all spheres of entrepreneurship would offer a great opportunity for SMEs to add value to their businesses.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the programme would engage 50 registered\/licensed SMEs from all sectors operating within Lagos and Ogun states.<\/p>\n<p>He added that selected participants would be guided and provided with tools to help design strategies for their businesses\u2019 growth in the new year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is important that SMEs are armed with what constitutes a successful business, pitfalls to avoid when running a business, and follow through with strategic planning designed with a case study review.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe program which would be for 50 participants is open to new and existing business owners especially, young entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe SMEs would be taught to develop winning strategies to achieve goals, given clarifications on aligning personal goals with corporate ones, effective communication mechanisms among others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe SMEs should have their Minimum Viable Product designed or have existing products\/services with proven traction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey will fall into either of the two groups: Start-ups or Growing businesses in need of an accelerator,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>American Corner, a United States Consulate initiative in partnership with Pelse consulting, have unveiled an accelerator programme for 50 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Q1, 2022.
