The Kaduna<\/a> State Emergency Management Agency (KADSEMA), in a statement on Tuesday, made donations to victims of gunmen attacks in some communities in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of the state.<\/p>\n

The reports revealed that the donation was presented by the Executive Secretary of the agency, Muhammed Mukaddas, to the Sole Administrator of the local government, Umma Ahmed, for onward distribution to the internally-displaced persons (IDPs) in the council area.<\/p>\n

A report via the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) disclosed that the relief materials included: 70 bags of rice, 70 bags of garri, 30 bags of beans, five bags of sugar and five bags of salt.<\/p>\n

Others were: five cartons of noodles, five cartons of soap, five packets of diapers, 30 pieces of mattresses, 50 bales of blankets and 50 pieces of mosquito nets.<\/p>\n

Mukaddas, who commiserated with the people of Birnin Gwari on behalf of Gov. Nasir El-Rufai, said that the donation of the materials was to alleviate the sufferings of the displaced persons.<\/p>\n

He identified the affected communities as Unguwan Fari, Unguwan Kwambe, Unguwan Ayango, Kwabu, Rema, Bugai, Gaman Dagi, Gagara I, Gagara II, Tofa and Sabon Gida.<\/p>\n

According to the SEMA boss, the displaced persons are temporarily sheltered at UBE Danzuru, Tudun Jega Primary School and other communities within Birnin Gwari town.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
