Rotimi Akeredolu of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/broadnews\/2022\/01\/28\/ondo-state-records-over-50-cases-of-lassa-fever-in-jan\/\">Ondo State,<\/a> in a recent statement, declared that health record officers are significant stakeholders in planning a healthy society.<\/p>\n<p>Faduyile made the assertion when he hosted the Association of Records and Information Management Practitioners of Nigeria (AHRIMP) in his office in Akure on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour position is very important for statistics, record and planning. You are helpful for the government to plan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are as important as others because work in the health facilities amounts to nothing without proper record,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the state government, through his office, was planning to have a committee comprising all professional unions and associations in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not want to leave any part; we want all of us to work together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you have any issue, bring it up. I can assure you that we can work together and have a better Ondo State,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>The SA noted that Akeredolu\u2019s interest in the health sector was unwavering, saying, \u2018it is left for us, it is we that will see how far we can go\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have a government that is interested in your wellbeing and welfare,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the association to improve its productivity and efficiency to better the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201d Your association and activities cannot remain on paper if we want to move the state forward.
