GRAMMY: ‘Go And Stay In Nigeria So They Can Sing For You’, Shatta Wale Blasts Fans Mocking Him

Respected Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has forcefully replied his critics on social media.

Shatta Wale is arguably the most consistent musician in Africa, however, he has not won the most sought-after Grammy Award like his Nigerian counterparts, Burna Boy and Wizkid.

Last week, the singer’s Ghanaian fans heavily insulted him for failing to give them the glory Burna Boy and Wizkid brought to the continent of Africa. Following the heavy criticisms, they forced Shatta Wale to respond.

Shatta Wale said; “Enough is enough of Ghanaians insulting Ghana artistes. If you feel we don’t sing well, go and stay in Nigeria so they can sing for you.”

The singer added that he owns five mansions that are his ‘Grammy properties’. At least that will buy you a dream house. I have 5 mansions, my Grammy is my properties,” he said.

According to reports, Shatta Wale is the second richest musician in Ghana with over $6.5 million net worth. He is, no doubt, worth more than $1,500 that a Grammy Award plaque is valued at.
