Ghanaian Musician, Shatta Wale, Announces Retirement From Music

Sensational musician, Shatta Wale, has announced his official exit from doing music to delve into other businesses as an employer of labour.

The dancehall singer revealed this to his fans on his official twitter page. He noted that his forthcoming studio album, ‘Gift Of God’, would be the last musical project of his career.

Being one of the richest entertainers in Ghana, Shatta Wale said he has made enough money from music, and he is set to give new talents the opportunity they need to be successful musicians, also to create employment for the needy.

“This #GOGALBUM will be my retirement album. Made enough to go into new businesses and create employment for those who still want to follow the course!”, he shared.

Shatta Wale, real name, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is signed to own Shatta Movement Records and Zylofon Music, he is arguably the most consistent musician in the continent of Africa, and has won over 70 awards in his home country and abroad.
